These are hands-down the healthiest Ferrero Rocher-style truffles I’ve ever come across ~ straight from our Ayurvedic retreat chef in Portugal, Francisco.
We were utterly spoiled by his incredible food all week, and he’s kindly shared this gem of a recipe.
Joshua and I tried making them at home the other night, and let’s just say it became an experience we will put on repeat!

Here’s the recipe…make as many as you dare!
Take one whole hazelnut.
Encase it inside half a medjool date, forming a ball.
Roll the ball in cinnamon and nutmeg.
Use a fork to dip the ball into melted chocolate (we used 85%).
Lift it out and roll it in cacao powder.
Let them set on a plate ~ enjoy (if you can stop at just two)!
