Remedial Massage & Pain Rehab

Restore movement. Reduce pain. Understand your body.
If you’re living with persistent aches, recurring pain, stiffness or tension that never seems to fully resolve, remedial massage can help uncover the root cause and create a plan to get you moving comfortably again.
Unlike a spa massage, every treatment begins with an assessment so we can understand what may be contributing to your symptoms and choose the most appropriate treatment approach for your body.
Whether you’re struggling with neck tension, TMJ pain, headaches, shoulder pain, back pain, hip discomfort, postural strain, sports injuries or the physical effects of stress + fatigue, your treatment is tailored specifically to you.
What to expect?
Every appointment includes:
- muscle + postural assessments
- discussion of symptoms, lifestyle + goals
- hands-on treatment tailored to your needs
- advice + exercises to support your recovery
- a personalised pilates post-treatment plan that is realistic to your life
- Each session is unique to you...treatments can include remedial deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, dry needling, assisted stretching.

Why ladies choose this treatment
Many clients arrive having tried stretches, massage guns, YouTube videos or simply putting up with the problem for months.
The difference is that we don’t just focus on where it hurts.
We assess how your body moves as a whole to identify what may be contributing to the issue and create a treatment plan that supports long-term improvement rather than temporary relief.
The goal is not simply to help you feel better for an hour.
The goal is to help you move better, feel stronger and understand your body with greater confidence.
Suitable For Women Of All Ages
For women who may be experiencing chronic-fatigue, to active women and runners, to those navigating perimenopause, postnatal recovery or persistent pain, or TMJ issues, remedial massage provides a personalised approach to helping you feel more comfortable in your body again.

1. Which treatment is right for me?
If you’re unsure which treatment to book, don’t worry. You will receive a health screening form to fill out ahead of your appointment, which will give me a lot of clarity of your needs. When you arrive, we’ll discuss your goals, symptoms and preferences at the start of your appointment and ensure you’re receiving the most appropriate treatment for your needs.
2. Will the treatment be painful?
Massage should never feel unbearable. I will always communicate with you in treatment. My priority is down-regulating your nervous system, so I will adapt to you and guide your breathing too. Some techniques, such as trigger point therapy, dry needling or myofascial release, can feel intense at times, but treatment is always adapted to your comfort level and feedback.
3. How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your goals and how long the issue has been present. Some clients experience significant improvement after one session, whilst others with persistent pain, tension or movement restrictions benefit from a treatment plan that we can discuss, and ongoing support. Sometimes that looks like using the online studio for specific rehab between sessions. Where diaries allow, in some cases, bi-weekly appointments for the 1st 2 or 3 sessions may be advised, spread out to bi-monthly sessions.
5. What should I do after my appointment?
Following treatment, you may be given simple mobility exercises, Pilates recommendations or self-care advice to help maintain your results. Drinking plenty of water, gentle movement and allowing your body time to recover can also be helpful. For guided and progressive recovery, I may recommend one of the online series or online membership to excel your recovery.
